Meet the teamMARTY FORSTER (Managing Director and Senior Consultant)
Marty has been involved in the agriculture industry for over 15 years. Born in Motueka and spent most of his childhood on dairy farms in the Bay of Plenty. After leaving School, Marty started working as a farm hand and branched out to contracting work. In 1998 Marty established a contracting business pumping effluent from dairy farm ponds. The business grew and started installing effluent systems.
The knowledge base that Marty has regarding effluent and nutrient management is well known within the industry. Marty speaks at most Dairy NZ field days on effluent as well as running workshops at seminars. Marty enjoy team sports such as Touch Rugby and Rugby Union, and individual sports such as squash and golf (his current handicap is 18), however Marty hasn’t been playing much golf recently, instead he enjoys his free time with his young family, taking the kids to the beach. FERNANDA CULLINGWORTH (PA to Marty) Born and raised in South Africa and with a Portuguese background Fernanda is the international member of our team. She has been in New Zealand with her family since 2005 and loving it. Having worked in the banking and insurance industry for most of her career, Fernanda joined our team a couple of years ago. She is Marty's Personal Assistant and helps with the daily operation of the company. In her spare time, Fernanda enjoys music, traveling and time out with friends and a good bottle of wine. Her greatest achievement is her 3 children. ROD HARRIS (Manager Southland Branch) Rod has come from a strong farming background which includes experience in sheep, beef, deer and dairy farming. His 14 year dairy career progressed through share-milking to a successful farm partnership in Southland. More recently he has been involved in project management of dairy conversions in Southland. He has also had various voluntary dairy industry involvements in Southland.Rod enjoys squash, hunting, fishing, diving and touring the beautiful South Island roads on his motorcycle. |
